Composition et fabrication\u00a0: Ce fil est fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de fibres de silicate alcalino-terreux vitreux synth\u00e9tiques, principalement compos\u00e9es de CaO, MgO et SiO\u2082. Il est obtenu par filage et tissage. Des mat\u00e9riaux de renforcement tels que des fibres de verre ou des fils d'alliage thermor\u00e9sistants peuvent \u00eatre ajout\u00e9s selon les conditions d'utilisation.<\/div>\n

Caract\u00e9ristiques de performance\u00a0: Excellente r\u00e9sistance aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures, avec une temp\u00e9rature de service continue allant jusqu'\u00e0 1\u00a0050\u00a0\u00b0C et une temp\u00e9rature de service \u00e0 court terme allant jusqu'\u00e0 1\u00a0260\u00a0\u00b0C. Bonne stabilit\u00e9 chimique, r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion acide et alcaline, ainsi qu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9rosion des m\u00e9taux en fusion. Faible conductivit\u00e9 thermique, bonne absorption acoustique, faible accumulation de chaleur et haute r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la traction. Biod\u00e9gradable, il est respectueux de l'environnement et sans danger pour l'homme.<\/div>\n

Applications\u00a0: Largement utilis\u00e9 pour l'isolation thermique des fours industriels, des pipelines et des conteneurs, il permet de r\u00e9duire les pertes de chaleur. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour l'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 des portes, vannes et brides de four afin d'\u00e9viter les fuites de fluide. Il est \u00e9galement souvent utilis\u00e9 comme mat\u00e9riau pour les portes et volets coupe-feu, jouant un r\u00f4le ignifuge.
